Dear residents of Oranjemund,
As we step into a new year, I would like to extend my heartfelt wishes for a prosperous and fulfilling 2025 to you and your families. The past year has been challenging for the Oranjemund Town Council, especially in delivering the level of service our community deserves. We acknowledge the frustrations you may have experienced, particularly in areas such as road maintenance, electrical services, and water services.
Despite limited financial resources, we remain committed to improving service delivery and addressing these challenges with renewed focus and determination. We are working tirelessly to explore innovative solutions, optimize our resources, and ensure the sustainability of essential services in the year ahead.
Council has also observed with great concern the increase in vandalism and theft of council property, which undermine the progress we strive to achieve together.
Council would like to thank the neighbourhood watch and the Namibian police force for their unwavering efforts in safeguarding our community. We urge all residents to remain vigilant in protecting our shared resources.
