Oranjemund Holds Memorial Service for Founding Father Dr. Sam Nujoma
Oranjemund, 24 February 2025 – The Oranjemund community gathered to honour the life and legacy of Dr. Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma, Namibia’s Founding President and Father of the Nation, at a solemn memorial service.
The service featured heartfelt tributes, reflective performances, and moments of silence, allowing residents to pay their respects and celebrate the profound impact of Dr. Nujoma’s leadership on the nation.
The Oranjemund Town Council extended its condolences to the Nujoma family and the people of Namibia, reaffirming that his legacy of freedom, unity, and resilience continues to inspire generations across the country.
